A few years back I soloed the Triple Couloirs. It was a not so nice day in April with cloud down to 6000' and light snowfall. The other party on the route bailed - which was probably the smart move.

True to Jim Nelson's warnings that hardest part was actually getting off the summit. Visibility was down to maybe fifty feet and with no reference points it took a long time to get down to Asgard Pass and finally the lake. The descent turned into a bit of a slog, especially the last four miles down the road to Icicle Creek.
