Samsung NC10 Memory Upgrade
Thursday, December 11, 2008 – 4:00 AMI upgraded the memory on my Samsung NC10 , largely because I’ve never met a computer I didn’t like more when it had some extra memory. Laptop Mag as a great article/video on How to Add RAM to the Samsung NC10. The video does a great job of stepping you through the process and showing you how the DIMM slides in at an angle and then snaps down.
Getting the cover off was actually the trickiest part as it requires a lot more force than you might expect and I was keen not to break the cover. I actually used a knife to apply force under the cover next to where the clips are half way down the cover.
I got the following from NewEgg and it seems to be working just fine.
Transcend 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Laptop Memory

Well if you thought taking the cover off was hard then youve probably never owned an acer.
I dont know why but acer hides all of the components below one cover. Its a pain to take it off..
