patterns & practices Summit in Redmond

This week is the patterns & practices Summit so I’m sitting in the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond. Tomorrow I’ll be speaking about our experiences at p&p with distributed agile development and hopefully talking to some of our customers about their challenges in this area.

Chris Sims reviewed the distributed agile development paper for InfoQ News this week. Chris actually led the distributed agile workshop at Agile 2008 this year which was really helpful in gelling some of my thinking around the challenges of distributed development.

If you’re not at the Summit we’ll be videoing some of the sessions and making them available on the patterns & practices Developer Center and Channel 9.
