Windows Live Toolbar – Your Favorites everywhere

Monday, February 18, 2008 – 11:59 AM

For a long time now I’ve been struggling to keep my favorites on my home and work browsers in sync. There are web sites that will let you maintain a list of favorites but I wanted to just sync my IE favorites list and see it on all my browsers.

It turns out the Windows Live Toolbar offers just such a feature. Install the toolbar and you’ll see a “Favorites” button. You can use this to sync all your links to and from the a Windows Live server on any browser when you login with your Live ID.

  3. Ernie,

Not sure I understand the question. You install the toolbar and then click on down arrow next to Favorites and select the options menu item. You need to associate your favorites with a Windows Live account.

If you do this on multiple machines then your favorites will be syncronized across all your browsers.

    Hope this helps.
