Tomorrow I and a bunch of other Microsoft types head for Agile 2006 in Minneapolis. Looking forward to it, maybe see some of you there - whomever "you" might be.

 

If nothing else Google are sure to bribe us with free beer at their reception on Wednesday night.

 

Which reminds me… Sometime in the mid 90s I was at a web conference in Boston and Microsoft was handing out free beer. I distinctly remember scoring two bottles of Becks. I took the beer and a decade later I have one of those shiny blue badges.

 

Google will try the same trick. This is neither good nor bad - but consider yourself warned. There is no such thing as a "free beer".
